It’s no secret nowadays that healing autoimmune conditions goes beyond just food and lifestyle. I recently wrote a post about this phenomenon called “The Other 20%” in which I talk through my observations regarding the more emotional side of healing, and there’s also numerous other amazing books, blogs and resources available out there.

I believe that being able to dig deep and heal from an emotional standpoint is the critical missing piece to being able to heal holistically from autoimmune conditions. Therefore, I created a free Guide to Self-Love for you to download and interact with, in hopes that it will help you go a little deeper in this process toward self-love and self-discovery.

As you’ll read in the introduction to this guide, this workbook is essentially a blueprint that outlines some of the steps I’ve taken in my own life to begin shifting into a more positive, conscious mindset and come closer to loving myself, my body, and my circumstances (including autoimmune disease!).

My personal experience is that these activities – as simple as they seem – have taken my healing to a whole new level, and today I am able to sit happily with the person I am, despite my chronic illnesses. I am able to accept that the Universe always has a plan for me, that everything happens for a reason, and that I am perfect just the way I am.

These shifts in my mental attitude have been monumental toward helping me grow and heal myself, as I don’t blame my body for attacking me, or God for “punishing me”, or myself for being “weak” or “a baby” – all statements and belief systems I had accumulated throughout the years.

I believe this was the key to the great healing progress I’ve made over the years, and we’re confident that taking the time to complete this guidebook and really contemplate the answers and your feelings that come up while doing it, will help you make progress as well.

So here’s to the “next step” in the healing process – a step that is so basic and often so overlooked, yet so important. We hope you enjoy, and that this can help jumpstart your journey back to self-love, self-acceptance and greater health.

What has your experience been with self-love as it relates to healing?
